We run low cost art classes for children, Adults, Seniors, Ones with Disabilities and also partner with other Local Non profits such as FCSS, Healthy Aging Program, Family Kids First Center, Pioneer Lodge, Extendicare, Town of Fort Macleod Library to bring as much programming as possible to our community. We also have showcased a wide variety of art in our building from local, regional, national and international artists. Our programming has included “house concerts” with local, national and international musicians. We try to bring in instructors from all over Southern Alberta to have variety in our programming. We host on-going drop-in programs (i.e. Free weekly drop in art sessions, pottery club) We also offer a variety of community events. The Giant Xmas Craft Sale is held during the weekend of the Santa Claus Parade. This event brings together approximately 50 local artisans and is typically attended by over 2000 people. We put well over 200 hours of volunteer time to organize this event. We strive to make our events and programming inclusive and accessible to all members of our community.
